Connect was founded by filmmakers, and prices are intentionally lower than our peers.  Prices are also rising.

We are a festival focused on establishing a self-sustaining creative hub. The first two events were entirely funded by the organiser– free submission for all films, free tickets for all filmmakers and supporters. This became unsustainable when Connect blossomed to a community of over 400 applicants, and showcased more than 40 short films at one of the finest theaters in Los Angeles– the Downtown Independent, an all-DCP lineup at a spectacular 220 seat theater with 4K projection, that even included a 3D screening.
